MAT 485 - Senior Capstone Project (1)

Students will conduct research on a subject or problem that they have selected and that has been approved by a Mathematics faculty member, who will serve as their advisor for this project. The work will culminate in a paper and a public presentation.

In addition to consulting with the instructor of the course and their capstone advisor on the final written project, students will spend class time presenting their progress to classmates peers, sharing and developing ideas, answering questions, and overcoming difficulties arising in their research. Prerequisite: MAT 502  Capstone Preparation. No alternate grade option.
