ENG 305 - Junior Seminar (1)

The junior seminar opens avenues to further professional and research opportunities for all English majors. Organized around a central public humanities project, this course offers students hands-on experience in public scholarship and community-oriented research and action. Students engage in professionalization opportunities such as meeting with alumni in pertinent fields and preparing polished documents for jobs, internships, graduate school, or other post-graduate opportunities. Career and further education exploration is a strong focus of this course. Finally, students will plan and declare their capstone in this course. Prerequisites: Major in English and two 200-level ENG courses (not counting ENG 280  or ENG 380 )
