EGR 385 - Engineering Design Project (1)Students propose a real-world engineering problem, then devise a novel solution to that problem. Specific projects will be chosen in an area of the student’s interest with prior consultation with the instructor. Course work includes the design, construction, and testing of the project, a comprehensive written report, oral presentation, and reflection paper. Students should take this course during their final year at Cornell. Prerequisites: EGR 231 , EGR 271 , EGR 311 , and one additional EGR 300-level course. Students are required to consult with the instructor at least 60 days before the first day of the class in order to develop a project proposal. The project proposal must be approved by the instructor at least 30 days before the first day of class. Senior standing or permission of instructor.
