CSC 301 - Computer Algorithms (1)

Students will gain familiarity with searching and sorting algorithms, learn how to prove the correctness of algorithms, and learn how to compare their costs (how much work the computer does to produce a solution with each method). The course will introduce students to dynamic programming and greedy algorithms, two especially important methods for solving problems. Prerequisites: CSC 140, CSC 144, and CSC 201
