The evolutionary history, morphology, taxonomy, physiology, ecology, behavior, and economic importance of insects. Laboratories will focus on sampling, preservation, identification, and experimentation with insects. Field trips may extend beyond normal class hours. Prerequisites: BIO 211 or BIO 141, BIO 142, and permission of instructor. Offered every third year. (Laboratory Science)
