Minors:
Two minors are available. No courses, except ART 103 and ART 104 , may be counted toward more than one minor under the supervision of the Department of Art and Art History. Transfer students must take at least three courses from the Cornell College Department of Art and Art History.
Requirements
A minimum of six course credits in art and art history which include at least four studio art courses [SA], and two art history courses [AH], one of which must be ART 260 , ART 264 , ART 266 , ART 362 , or ART 363 . Individual projects and tutorials in art history (ART 292 and ART 392 ) or studio art (ART 291 and ART 391 ) will not be counted toward fulfillment of the minor.
Note: Art History majors desiring to minor in studio art must complete at least two additional courses in studio art beyond those counted for the art history major (completing 5 total courses in studio art).
