Requirements
A minimum of eight course credits in Spanish at or above the 300 level, which include
Two Elective Courses
In Spanish or in other areas approved by the Department as relevant to the Spanish major
At least one course in each of the following concentrations:
Literatures and Cultures of Spain:
Latin American and Caribbean Literatures and Cultures:
Hispanic and U.S./Latino Literatures and Cultures:
Teaching Certification:
Students who are interested in pursuing K-12 certification to teach Spanish should seek admission to the Teacher Education Program. See the Education department section for application and certification information.
