Biology is an extensive field, encompassing topics from molecules to ecosystems. The Biology major is designed to let students explore these topics and tailor upper-level coursework to their interests. In this major, you will study the principles governing life processes at the molecular, cellular, organismal, and ecological levels. You will also develop research skills in the laboratory and out in the field. The major culminates in an independent research project under the direction of a faculty supervisor.
