Requirements
A minimum of nine course credits, which include: A Minimum of Two
GER literature, culture or history courses conducted in English or in German at or above the 300 level A Minimum of three course credits in German or related areas approved beforehand by the Department as relevant to the major
- These courses can include any GER course not already counted above (not GER 101, 102, or 103), HIS 102 , HIS 104 , HIS 210 , HIS 304 , HIS 315 , HIS 318 , HIS 319 , HIS 320 , HIS 324 , HIS 326 , HIS 327 , PHI 303 , PHI 306 , POL 244 , or others approved by the department.
Teaching Certification:
Students who are interested in pursuing K-12 certification to teach German should seek admission to the Teacher Education Program. See the Education department section for application and certification information. |
