French and Francophone Studies Minor

Requirements

A minimum of five course credits in French which include:

Up to one 200- or 300-level FRE courses offered taught in English may count.
A maximum of one upper-level course (200 or above) taken from other programs/departments, approved beforehand by the French program as relevant to the major, may be counted toward the minor.
Only one of the additional courses may be an internship or independent study (this does not include credits taken as an arranged course).
No more than one of the two additional courses may be taught in a language other than French.
