This interdisciplinary major consists of courses in Russian and in English. Students receive a strong foundation in language and learn about key aspects of Russian culture, past and present.

A minimum of eight course credits, at least 5 of which must be at or above the 300 level, to include

HIS 323 - Russia from 1941 (1)
PHI 306 - 19th Century Philosophy: From Hegel to Nietzche (1)
PHI 309 - Existentialism (1)
RUS courses at or above the 200 level in Russian or in English
Courses in related areas approved beforehand by the program advisor as relevant to the major
