Introduction to the language of ancient Greece, Alexander and his successors, and the eastern Mediterranean. Students will learn the essentials of grammar, vocabulary, and Greek mythology and culture through reading, speaking, and writing Greek; and read selections from classical writers and the New Testament. Prerequisite: GRE 102 Offered every third year. (Language)
