ART 245 - Animation (1)

This course introduces students to a range of historical and contemporary animation practices. Students will engage with various techniques including rotoscoping, stop-motion, digital processes, and experimental forms of animation over the course of the block.

The course makes use of a number of Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate, and Premier Pro). Students that do not have experience with any of these programs are recommended to take Art 243: Digital Practices before signing up for the class. Prerequisite(s): Any 100-level Studio Art course or ART 200. This course has an additional materials fee listed in self-service. [SA]
