SOC 487 - SOC Senior Seminar (1)

The senior capstone course provides sociology and GSS majors an opportunity to reflect on their academic career as their attention turns toward their post-baccalaureate future. It is designed to help students synthesize, integrate, and articulate their sociological insights and experiences. The course is organized around three major themes: (1) reflection and assessment of one’s academic career, (2) professional development; and (3) a cumulative capstone project. Open only to Senior Sociology Majors, Senior GSS Majors, and Senior CPH Majors. Prerequisites: Two 300 level courses in Sociology. No alternate grade option.
