PHY 245 - Laboratory Physics (1)

In this course, students will learn important concepts in electricity, magnetism, and circuits by doing experiments. This knowledge will help prepare them for more advanced courses in these topics. Concepts include: charge, electric fields, electric potential, voltage, current, magnetic fields, magnetic forces, Faraday’s law, capacitance, resistance, inductance, motors, generators, electrical energy and power. Prerequisite: PHY 225
