EGR 231 - Engineering Statics (1)

Engineering Statics focuses on static forces on particles, bodies, and objects. Statics encompasses situations where bodies are at rest or moving at a constant velocity. Students will participate in problem solving and team designs using fundamental concepts and principles. Course topics include equilibrium, structural analysis, work and energy, friction, inertia, and momentum. Prerequisite: EGR 131  and PHY 225
