An introductory music theory exploration, this course begins with pitch and rhythm reading skills; leads to understanding of intervals, scales, keys, and chords; and culminates in development of basic skills in musical analysis and composition. Previous experience in reading music is recommended, but not required. Preparation for MUS 110. (Fine Arts)
