KIN 511 - Introductory Athletic Training Practicum (1/4)

Provides an introductory supervised practical experience in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses.Participation in learning Cornell Sports Medicine Assistant competency skills including taping, wrapping, stretching, and emergency care. This course may not be repeated for credit. Prerequisites: Must be accepted into the Cornell College Athletic Training Program. Application for admission to the program includes a written form, interview with the Head Athletic Trainer, and two letters of reference from Cornell instructors and/or coaches.
