EDU 314 - Methods of Elementary Mathematics (1)

Current elementary school methods of instruction, lesson planning, computer applications, student assessment, and classroom management. Students complete a 40 hour practicum at the elementary level, and they must provide their own transportation to the school site.This course must be taken PRIOR to student teaching. Prerequisites: EDU 205, 215, 230, 240, admission to the Teacher Education Program, and junior standing, or permission of instructor. This course requires an in-person practicum experience at the school. No alternate grade option.
