BIO 325 - Conservation Biology (1)

Conservation biology is an applied science focused on understanding global and local diversity and protecting, maintaining, and restoring natural ecosystems. In this class, students will apply ecological principles to better understand the forces driving changes in biodiversity, the consequences of decreasing biodiversity, and assessments and methods used in combating these changes. One or more field trips may extend beyond normal class hours. Prerequisite: BIO 142  and BIO 221
