ECB 353 - Business Analytics I (1)
This course introduces the data mining process used in industry as well as a variety of algorithms and statistical techniques used predict business outcomes. The course will cover the basics of the data mining process including data preprocessing, partitioning and model performance evaluation. The course also introduces several common methods used to predict numerical and categorical outcomes. Methods include regression techniques, k-Nearest Neighbor, Naïve Bayes and others. Prerequisites: STA 202 or STA 348 .
