REL 389 - Seminar in Religion II: Practical Applications (1)

This seminar is the second of two courses that make up the capstone experience for junior and senior majors in the study of religion. Students will both consider and implement the practical applications of their research projects completed in the prior seminar. Students will be encouraged to consult with on-campus faculty, whose specializations align with their topics, and to take full advantage of the college’s resources, including the Writing Center, the Berry Center, and the Civic Engagement Office, toward the ends of a creating a product (i.e., academic paper, presentation, informational resource, promotional video, etc.) beneficial to the academy and/or society.   Prerequisite: REL 388. Alternate years. Offered same year as REL 388. This course is pre-approved for transcript notation in the Ingenuity in Action category, Civic Engagement.
