GEO 326 - Invertebrate Paleontology (1)

Principles of paleobiology, paleoecology, and taphonomy with an introduction to the taxonomy and evolution of major groups of invertebrate animal fossils. Topics include biostratigraphy, mass extinctions, and the history of life on Earth. Hand specimen and microscopic study of fossils. Prerequisite: GEO 224 or Permission of Instructor
