Most people are familiar with some of the work and life of Frida Kahlo; however, she lived in a turbulent political time with her husband, Rivera, as well as David Alfaro Siqueiros, and José Clemente Orozco. She stands out as a woman artist struggling to make her way in a rapidly changing artistic world in the twentieth century, whose work will command higher prices than any other woman artist today.
