ART 110 - Topics: Graphic Design (1)

Graphic design plays a central role in many disciplines and fields whether that be in an academic or a commercial context. This course introduces students to the fundamentals of design that involve image-making techniques that are appropriate for art majors and non-majors. You will learn about the basics of the use of color, shape, pattern, and typography that can apply to various individual projects. Other tools addressed will be symbol design, editorial design, and packaging. [SA]
